Actually Maple doesn't run on virtual machines anymore; when I launch via VMware it gives me an error message that maple doesn't run on virtual machines. I've read about some ways to get around it but never attempted since I don't particularly like VMware anyways (doesn't run fast enough imo). Bootcamp is your best/only working fix to your problem that I know of. All you need for bootcamp is the OS you want to install and the bootcamp assistant found in your utilities. You shouldn't have to pay anyone to do it, Bootcamp is a pretty straight forward process, maybe watch a guide or two based on your specific OS and make sure you get the right drivers set up when you're in windows os. Bootcamp is one solution.
